So Ends Another Hockey Season

Well Folks, for the first time since September of 2003 I went to work on a friday morning & I was not tired. Why? might you ask... Well good question! Last thursday night/friday morning was the final game of our appropiately named "Drag Butt" hockey league. For the last 7 months the boys from work & abroad have faithfully showed up for our early 11 PM games which often went on till 12:30AM. I would not get home till 1-1:30AM thus making the following 7AM wake up quite the ordeal to even get out of bed let alone go to work. None of us were stars & the goalies would probably have a hard time stopping a beach ball let alone a 3 inch round disk of rubber but we had fun. We would go to work the next day "dragging butt", sore & tired. Why exploit ourselves to this punishment?

Because we LOVE the game!!

We were willing to go to the extreme to play the game we love.. which is something I can't say for the NHL or the NHLPA. Mabye one day they will realize that... already one day to late.
